Our Story

Wellmark was founded in 1996 to fill a need for a large-scale recycled resin source, and for 25 years we have been custom compounding top-quality post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastic raw materialsthat have the same performance as virgin materials.

All of our reprocessed materials are carefully inspected, packaged like virgin stock, pre-approved by the customer and guaranteed to be as represented — or we will gladly re-stock the material.

Our modern plant and advanced, efficient manufacturing equipment enable us to reprocess a wide variety of thermoplastic materials at the lowest cost. The diversity of our products and services, as well as the economies of scale we enjoy due to our high production volume, enable us to withstand the price fluctuations so typical in the recycled-plastics market. We take pride in our policy of open communication — providing monthly summaries of scrap volumes, up-to-date information on current and predicted market prices, and prompt payment for all scrap materials purchased.

Our ability to collect, reprocess and market materials to the end-user eliminates the middleman and decreases the cost to our customers. We can pick up your scrap material, clean it, process it and send it back to you as a low-cost, high-quality substitute for virgin material. Our customized recycling services allow us to tailor a program to your specific needs so we can provide you with the maximum economic benefit.
